Internet Addiction in youths of India

More than 46% of medical students in India may be Internet addicts. How does this affect mental health? The Internet has become one of man’s most important tools. But, as the Internet grows, so do our vices, and there is an increasing concern about Internet addiction. The authors of this study examined Internet addiction among young adults in northeastern India to gain detailed information about the prevalence, pattern, risk factors, and adverse effects commonly associated with the disorder.
